About this role:

Codetribe is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our team. What you will do

  • Lead infrastructure migration from old to new systems
  • Provide ongoing support to the business, addressing infrastructure-related issues within working hours
  • Collaborate closely with teams from both our organization and the client's side
  • Implement automation solutions, performance monitoring tools, and optimization strategies to improve infrastructure efficiency and reliability
  • Test infrastructure at different stages of development
  • Use various DevOps and automation tools in the work
  • Guide software developers' decision-making process as an infrastructure solution architect
  • Implement new infrastructure components both on-premise and in the cloud
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance automation

What we are looking for

  • You have a minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • You are proficient in Linux systems, including experience with Debian and RHEL distributions, Shell scripting, and Kernel Tuning
  • You have a solid knowledge of general networking concepts, including DNS (Authoritative), VPN, and firewall management (e.g., IPTables, FirewallD)
  • You have experience with containerization and virtualization technologies such as Docker and KVM Virtualization
  • You have a deep understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD, infrastructure, and network design, as well as automation techniques
  • You are familiar with Python programming language for automation tasks
  • You have experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure
  • You have no issue communicating in English verbally and in writing

    What will get you bonus points

  • Familiarity with infrastructure orchestration
  • Familiarity with firewall management tools like PaloAlto
  • Experience with virtualization platforms like ProxMox is a plus
  • Tech background / Some programming experience
  • Certification in AWS or Azure Cloud
